Hello, my name is Happysuz and I?m addicted to buying craft supplies.

My latest splurge?? I was at one of our local craft stores this week to buy school supplies and to look at some alcohol markers.? I purchased some online art classes for Spygirl and they Spectrum Noir markers_edited-1 suggested getting good, artist quality markers.? I had been wanting to try Copic markers, but am not willing to pay the high price for them. So I figured I?d try a less expensive brand and get a set that Spygirl and I could share.

My craft store was out of the usual brand. I almost gave up and went home to order some on Amazon when I spotted a display in the stamp section.? They were carrying a new brand (well, new for them) of alcohol pens called Spectrum Noir.? They were 50% off!! ? There were 12 packs of 6 pens each that you could buy.? Each pack in a different color family.? I got 10 packs of my most used colors (because, you know, buying 12 packs would be excessive. LOL) and went home very happy.

75th birthday card I used them to color the flower and the 75 numbers on this card I made for my aunt.? They blend nicely and color great!? I love that you can make thinks darker or lighter like with crayons.

I have signed Spygirl up for a series of art classes with Thrive Art Online.? I want to learn to draw also, so I thought I?d do them with her.? I?ll post how those classes go separately.

I spent way too much money on markers, but it was such a great deal.? I?m very happy with my purchase and they were a fraction of the cost of a much smaller collection of Copic or even Prismacolor.
