How a joint pain remedy is curing my arthritis pain without killing me. www.provailen.com This is my personal story about how i had an accident 20 years ago. I have had 3 spinal surgeries, 3 knee surgeries and i have lots of arthritis issues. I have been taking about 10 different prescription meds, celibrix or celebra my anti-inflammatory medication, vicodin and tramadol for pain, flexeril and soma for muscle relaxers. I have taken these specific meds or similar for about 20 years now, about 8 month ago I woke up with a bleeding stomach ulcer and was vomiting blood. I then had to go see a gastroenterologist, besides my normal orthopedic doctor, i then received Tagament, Peptcin something and Famotidine now i also always had a bottle of tums and the pink stuff peto bismol to fight the late night indigestion. 90 days or so after i was on all this stuff for my stomach, and back and knee i cold not sleep. Imagine i now also have Insomnia and after weeks of virtually no sleep doctor prescribed Ambien a sleeping pill. What really shook me up was when my orthopedic doctor had me doing liver tests every 60 days to monitor my liver, I was told of the problems of anti-inflammatory but honestly I did not think they could be that serious. Now looking back and looking at the cocktail of medications i was on you can tell it would eventually get me. Well liver test in, doctor tells me i have to get off meds or risk permanent liver damage to the point i might need a liver transplant. I ?

Starship Troopers Reboot Could Be Less Violent

Paul?Verhoeven's '80s sci-fis tiptoed between kitsch and corrosive with such brass that people are still debating which bits are meant as satire and which bits aren't. His loose triptych of subversive sci-fis - Starship Troopers, Total Recall and RoboCop - are all getting a redo, with the former still in the early stages of development. In the new issue, Empire caught up with producer Toby Jaffe to find out what's planned for the former.

"The more expensive a film is, the harder it is now to make it that violent," explains Jaffe, also one of the team behind the Colin?Farrell's Total Recall. "With Recall in particular, we made a conscious choice to keep it tonally closer to something like Minority Report. It gives the studio, and us as producers, the opportunity to reintroduce it in a new way."

It's news that will land with a thump in the hearts of bug-hunt purists, but hardly a surprise. It's hard to imagine Verhoeven's gleefully violent RoboCop or Troopers sneaking through the studio system these days, and, explains Jaffe, there's little point retreading old? ground. "Verhoeven took [Robert Heinlein's 1959 novel] from one extreme and made it almost comical, whereas our job is to be a little more faithful to the book, and ground it a little more."

What's planned sounds like it will ditch the satire in favour of a straighter action play. "Verhoeven made his movie a critique of fascism," says Jaffe, "whereas Heinlein was writing from the perspective of someone who had served in?World War II. Y'know, one man's fascism is another man's patriotism..."

One element that will improve with age is the hardware. If the militaristic elements are less tongue-in-cheek, those nukes will be bigger and better. "Working in a visual-efects renaissance as we are, we have the ability to do so much more now. We can do the Jump Suits [armoured exoskeletons from Heinlein's novel], for example, which I don't think they could have done before."

Pick up the new issue of Empire from Thursday for a fresh look at Verhoeven's trippy trilogy and more from Jaffe and co. on the new generation of films.

Well atleast we will get crap CGI "jump packs"
Who cares if they remove a large chunk unique factors of what made Verhoeven's film unique and a success in almost every regard outside of gross. I would probably be more concerned if I believed this film was a sure thing but I am having a hard time believing this remake will happen. Total Recall 2012 looks average at best, and the details so far for Robocop also come off as "meh". More

Starship Troopers - pure cinematic pleasure

RE: A word about the VFX
L: Galahadfairlight The comment from the producer to suggest they couldn't do the jump suits back in 1997 is patent nonsense, Verhoeven removed them largely to stop the Humans from being virtually indestructable, and to make them have a believable weakness against the bugs. The VFX for Starship Troopers still stands up today as being excellent, and I very much doubt that the VFX for the new incarnation are remotely going to make the old movie look silly! couldn't agree more. Let's face it, a p Troopers could hardly be ] violent. One of the most underrated, misunderstood and t of the 90s, if anything, Starship Troopers is even more subversive than the sublime how the Verhoeven version was a merciless piss-take of Heinlein's po-faced fascist tract - I will take the sight of Doogie Howser dressed like Herr Flick and solemnly intoning "There's a brain bug on Planet P!" with me to the grave. Wall Street Winces At Zynga Event As Shares Tumble Nearly 5%

Screen Shot 2012-06-26 at 12.18.02 PMIt's been a super tough few months for Zynga and internal morale at the company. After Facebook's lackluster IPO and the lock-up period for employees broke, Zynga shares have slipped more than 30 percent since May. Today could have been a reprieve for the company, which had its big annual launch event today in San Francisco. Shares were up early in the morning, but they dramatically sold off around 11:30 a.m. Pacific time by about 5 percent to $5.79. I'm not sure exactly why this happened -- as no one can ever fully understand the logic (or illogic) of the market -- but it was around the time that the company talked about casino games. It's possible that investors wanted something more certain about the future of Zynga's online gambling and casino revenues.

Fsbo - The entire process of Selling Your house Yourself

Sell your home yourself and obtain full value and pay no charges. Selling property quick has never been an easy job. Selling your home straight to the customer provides you with much more advantages. Because there would be no presence of the realtor who may have other interests in your mind. Individuals looking to purchase a home would benefit largely with for sale by owner purchases. Selling your property by using a property buying company is just a little known technique that everybody is using to market homes quick in the present market. Sellers have bombarded the home market due to the present economic turmoil. Selling your home the for sale by owner way can be quite attractive because you pay absolutely no commissions and also have total treatments for your sale. Selling real estate through the for sale by owner style is often debated inside the real estate community. We definitely do not blame you for selling your house yourself, as opposed to using the help of an agent.

Any amendments or supplements to purchase contracts should be written around the standard addenda. These forms offer most typical amendments and changes to buy contracts. Due to this you'll have limited contact with qualified buyers. If your seller promotes a house as a fsbo, along with a buyer who is not handling a realtor wishes to get your home, the vendor pays simply no commission because without any realtors take part in the process. So that you can simplify the dog owner finance scenario, you ought to have a possible investor ready for the freshly developed cash flow. These type of homes can be found on for sale by owner listings that are offered on the web. While a for sale by owner purchase can get rid of the presence of a real estate agent in the deal, it will bring on much more responsibilities and dangers for buyer and seller.

Aspen real estate companies

Consumers of fsbo houses can meet online, with useful resources directories for lawyers, appraisers, mortgage loan and home remodeling companies. These kind of sites area websites that will help you get serious buyers. You can find houses or market and sell your own fsbo property. You may also bargain with the seller to obtain a cheaper closing price, assuming you if did your homework on the house.

Selling a house is not really that simple. Selling property by yourself also needs plenty of work, from forms to marketing to showing possible buyers the house. Selling real estate fsbo puts sellers inside a hard position. Due to the responsibilities normally handled through the realtor is now at the disposal of the vendor. Selling a house requires an in-depth and thorough understanding of the housing industry. You need to be conscious of such things as how to locate the best motivated buyers, and many other steps that create a successful sale. Selling a house is really as significant as purchasing one. I order properties all the time and one good thing about supplying a trader is that you can remain in the house right until your brand-new property is ready to transfer to. Should you ever consider selling your home keep in mind to provide a trader a phone call.

First Fukushima seafood sold since nuke crisis

The first seafood caught off Japan's Fukushima coastline since last year's nuclear disaster went on sale Monday, but the offerings were limited to octopus and marine snails because of persisting fears about radiation.

Octopus and whelk, a kind of marine snail, were chosen for the initial shipments because testing for radioactive cesium consistently measured no detectable amounts, according to the Fukushima Prefectural (state) fishing cooperative. They were caught Friday and boiled so they last longer while being tested for radiation before they could be sold Monday.

Flounder, sea bass and other fish from Fukushima can't be sold yet because of contamination. It was unclear when they will be approved for sale as they measure above the limit in radiation set by the government. The government is testing for radioactive iodine as well, but its half-life is shorter than cesium and thus is less worrisome.

"It was crisp when I bit into it, and it tasted so good," said Yasuhiro Yoshida, who oversees the seafood section at York Benimaru supermarket in Soma, which sold out of about 30 kilograms (65 pounds) of the snails and 40 kilograms (90 pounds) of the octopus that had been shipped to the store.

Japan: Fukushima nuclear pool not unstable

The March 11 earthquake and tsunami last year left the coastlines of northeastern Japan devastated, and displaced tens of thousands of people. Entire towns were contaminated by the radiation leaking from Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant, where three reactors went into meltdowns.

"I was filled with both uncertainty and hope today, but I was so happy when I found out the local supermarket had sold out by 3 p.m.," said Hirofumi Konno, an official in charge of sales at the fishing cooperative in Soma city in coastal Fukushima.

PhotoBlog: 36 views of the Fukushima exclusion zone

He said he hoped crabs would be next to go on sale as radiation had not been detected in them, but he acknowledged things will take time, perhaps years, especially for other kinds of fish. Radiation amounts have been decreasing, but cesium lasts years.

The octopus and snail were selling at almost half of what they fetched before the disaster, he said. But he said people were buying Fukushima seafood to show support for local fishermen. The items were available locally but not in the whole prefecture or the Tokyo area.

Nobuyuki Yagi, a University of Tokyo professor studying the fisheries industry after the disaster, said serious concerns remain over whether anyone would buy Fukushima fish, and the key lay in finding the types of fish that don't store radioactive elements.

"Fishing cannot survive unless people buy the fish. That may seem obvious, but Fukushima is facing up to this," he said in a statement earlier this month.

Japan to lift entry ban on nuclear no-go zones

Farmlands have also been contaminated, and every grain of rice will be tested at harvest in some areas before they can be sold. The image of Fukushima produce has been seriously tarnished, and worried consumers, especially those with children, are shunning Fukushima-grown food.

"We are in for the long haul," Konno said in a telephone interview.

Samsung Galaxy S III (T-Mobile)

Giant, bold mega-phones are the new smartphone trend, and the impressive Samsung Galaxy S III ($279.99 with contract) is T-Mobile's first offering. With its 4.8-inch HD screen and state-of-the-art sharing and media features, the Galaxy S III makes a great window onto T-Mobile's fast 4G Internet. Its overall performance and quality make the Galaxy S III our new Editors' Choice for touch-screen smartphones on T-Mobile.

Editors' Note: The Samsung Galaxy S III models on all four major carriers are extremely similar, so we're sharing a lot of material between our various reviews. That said, we're testing each device separately, so read the review for your carrier of choice.

Physical Design
All of the new Galaxy S III models look the same, except for the carrier logo on the back panel. Each is available in dark blue or white (AT&T also has a red option coming this summer), and they're some of the biggest phones we've ever handled. At 5.4 by 2.8 by 0.34 inches (HWD) and 4.7 ounces, the GS3 is larger than the HTC One S ($199, 4.5 stars), although it's still noticeably smaller and lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note phone/tablet hybrid ($299, 3 stars). ?That said, this is not a phone for folks with small hands.

I'm not a fan of huge?phones. But I've given up on panning them because every time I suggest these handsets are too big, I get pummeled by comments from people who adore them. Huge phones are the thing. I accept it.

The GS3's all-plastic body feels a little less high-end than the anodized gray aluminum of the HTC One S, but the phone is solidly built, and light despite its size. The front of the phone is dominated by the 4.8-inch, 1280-by-720-pixel Super AMOLED HD screen. Yes, it's PenTile, which can sometimes look slightly pixelated. But, no, you probably won't notice. Below the screen, there's a physical Home button, as well as light-up Back and Multitasking buttons that start out invisible, so you have to memorize where they are or change a setting to keep them illuminated. The 8-megapixel camera is on the back panel, which, thanks to its reflective finish, doubles as a pocket mirror.?

The default Automatic Brightness setting makes the screen too dim. Kill it and pump up the brightness and it's fine, even outdoors.?

Unlike the competing HTC One S, the S III has a removable 2100mAh battery. Taking off the back cover also reveals the microSD card slot, which supports cards up to 64GB.

loading...

Call Quality and Internet
If you're interested in talking on your smartphone, buy the Galaxy S III. Its advanced call quality features make a real difference. Default call quality is good. Volume is on the high end of average, with no distortion from loud inputs, and the speakerphone is loud enough to use outdoors. The microphone does a good job of cancelling background noise. Bluetooth headsets work fine with Samsung's "S-Voice" voice dialing system, and the phone supports T-Mobile's seamless Wi-Fi calling system.

But as with so many things here, call quality gets richer if you burrow down into the GS3's settings screens. A Volume Boost button throws the phone into a super-loud, quasi-speakerphone mode for noisy areas, but that's just the start. There's also an option to set custom call EQ: The phone plays you a sequence of quiet high and low tones and you tell it which ones you can hear, and then it EQ's calls accordingly. This is pretty radical stuff. I prefer my calls sharp, with more high-end, for instance, and the GS3 offers that. This all makes the GS3 the best voice phone on T-Mobile.

For data, the GS3 hits T-Mobile's HSPA+ 42 network, which can sometimes match AT&T's and Verizon's LTE on download speeds. It hits global HSPA+ and Wi-Fi on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, and Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC are also on board. T-Mobile still blocks Google Wallet, but Samsung found its own uses for NFC, which I'll get to below.

Battery life is a major strength here. We got 10 hours, 47 minutes of talk time, which is impressive, and, since the battery is removable, you can also carry a spare for extra juice, something you can't do with the HTC One S.

Software and Performance
The Galaxy S III runs Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich" with a whole lot of exclusive Samsung extensions. Performance was excellent in my tests. The Qualcomm S4 chip running at 1.5GHz is the fastest one we've seen in smartphones so far, and it's able to take on any app challenge you throw at it, including games on the HD screen. Our benchmark tests proved this, although they were within the margin of error when compared with the One S. Both phones are very fast.

Exclusive new features include S-Beam, the ability to transfer files by tapping two phones together and using a combination of NFC and Wi-Fi Direct; S-Voice, Samsung's answer to Apple's Siri; and TecTiles, NFC-enabled accessory tags that can change the settings on your phone. You also get lots of sharing and tagging options in the camera, such as automatically tagging your friends' faces, and the ability for multiple GS3s within a few feet of each other to automatically share all of their photos.

Many of these features work well, but they're almost all buried. The interface is something of a scavenger hunt. Take Smart Stay, a neat new feature which detects your face and keeps the screen from going black while you're looking at it. I love it! But it's not on by default, and the only way to turn it on is by going to the Display area under Settings. S-Beam is similarly buried, under the Wireless menu.
